The Holyoke High School girls and boys track team participated in the Penn Relays for the first time in school history. The girls competed on Thursday April 26th in the 4×100 meter relay. They placed 3rd in their heat with a time of 52.93 seconds which was close to beating the school record of 52.1 seconds. The boys participated on Saturday April 28th and they beat their seed time by 2 seconds in the 4×400 meter relay. Both the girls and boys team represented the city of Holyoke very well at the largest track meet in the world. The Knights track athletes are gearing up to make a strong push in the Western Mass Divisional and Western Mass Championships which will be held on Friday May 18th at Holyoke High School and Saturday May 26th at Westfield State University.
